Dr. Othmar Paustian earned a doctorate at the Institute for Steel Construction of the Technical University Braunschweig and worked as an engineer in the industry for many years thereafter before making the decision to switch to the field of industrial property rights.

Dr. Paustian is admitted to practice German and European patent law since the mid-nineties.
